Rather disappointed with the result of yesterdays upgrade to SP3 for Windows XP. I use a notepad replacement called metapad. I actually replace notepad.exe with it. That is “ALL” instances of it. This is done within micro seconds of each other so windows doesn’t realize it is being done until the files that windows would use to replace the alleged corrupt notepad with have been replaced so the one that appears corrupt is replaced with what is actually metapad. I have had windows XP pro installed for over 3 years now. My notepad replacement has never been an issue before.

Warning: Probably nothing new to you since this is what I often do but this is a bit of a rant. Once again I find myself aggravated with our ignorance as a so-called advanced species. Recently there have been rumors of counterfeit money being circulated in the city that I live in. Nothing new there I suppose but the thing that I now find funny is the fact that a real counterfeit bill “I know that is sort of a oxy moron but anyway” a real counterfeit bill would cost upwards of twenty dollars to print, being that the ink is multi-colored, there are watermarks, a metal strip, the paper is not a normal every day stock made from wood but rather is a cloth fiber and that is not even to mention that I don’t know where the heck you think you could get plates or a press to print “real counterfeit bills”.

Due to recent events ALL clients must pay a 50% deposit of the total balance due to retain any form of services from us regardless of the type of service. Entertainment services will require the entire balance to be paid in full on the date of the event. Asylum Entertainment will NOT start a performance until this payment has been made so to insure your event goes as planned be sure to make prompt payments available.

Recently my uncle Kenny D. Shaw asked me to take a look at his upcoming children’s book and after sitting with one of my daughters and reading it from cover to cover we both decided it was surely a great book and looked forward to its upcoming release. It is now about a month later and the book is finally here as with an optional cd to accompany the book.

Global Warming, Genocide, Terrorism, War. That is all I hear about anymore. I must say I myself am seriously sick of it. Is this all really called for? Are we really that ignorant a species to not realize we are only killing ourselves and not so much ourselves but our children? Just think they will have to spend 50 years of their life or better cleaning up our mistakes if they are actually still alive and able.

So we have been seeing a lot of new user registrations for our site. A few of the users have come from communities such as Spicypage and MyBlogLog and I must say I am happy to welcome you all to our site. Hopefully you have found everything you came for. For about 6 months now we have been providing a unique type of web service to the new wave of Internet users. Our children. This is a very fast paced world out here on the Internet. A lot of things can go un noticed and with our children now using the internet for things such as gathering information for school, playing games, talking with friends and so on we have now end up with a playground of a whole new kind only it has no playground attendants or monitors. This is a very scary thing if you think about it.

Asylum-ET and Nuts N Bytes will be going off line for a few hours May, 28th after 9:PM (CDT) for some updates and a few changes to the server. We will be testing various new features at this time and performing some other general maintenance. We hope that by choosing to do this after hours it will have minimal impact on our users. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience it may cause.

Asylum ET has turned over a new leaf. It has been a while since we have made any posts so I am going to make one to let everyone know what has been going on recently. We have finally tied up all loose ends with our previous host which is a good thing but getting everything configured just right with our new isp has been a little crazy. We have almost got everything back in order.
