We have just completed our work on the sitemap so now you wont see all the links on one page. This will improve the load times for users greatly. Now you have the option of browsing direct links to blog posts or pages located on Asylum-ET with a display of how many result pages there are for each Site Pages and Blog Posts.

You will now have links to the first, previous, next and last result page of links for the category you select as well as a link to the main site map page if you decide you would like to browse another section.

Update: After reviewing the website that this post linked to we decided to remove the links due to not being able to find any appropriate download on the site. Asylum ET proposes a website inverted day. April 1, 2007 everyone with a website switches their websites theme to be a complete inverse of the normal style. We have been working on ours for about a day now.

You may find this to be a more troublesome task than you expect but you will become a better web developer as a result. It will give you insight into things like accessibility. Below you will find a list thieves. Each site listed will be shown for what they are, criminals. Theft of content and copy written works is against the law. As you may not have noticed our content is copy written as every page informs you of in the sidebar.

I do not want these losers getting ratings for links back so I have removed that possibility. As we go on I am sure we will get some people who we outright tick off because we refuse to remove there name from this list but the only reason they found themselves here is due to refusal to do one of two things. Remove our content from their advertisement pages or provide a link back to us without the no-follow attribute in it. Rather simple if you ask me. Doesn’t seem it is overly worth possible future charges due to infringement now does it? If you would like to be removed from this list and have not already then do one of the things I just mentioned and then contact us with the address in question. Some of the owners of these sites may not know of this even having happened so we urge them to contact us in the same way. Just the same though if you see it in this list chances are you should just not bother going to there site and find another that will more suit what you really wanted to find. What you will find by this list though is that many of these are actually the same website with different names.

Now that I am seeing how many of these are the same exact person I am thinking I am targeting him in particular to start. Remove my content now or suffer the consequences.
I ask that google and any other search engine take a good look at this list. By the looks of it most are the same person so to eliminate this issue or at least cut down on it a bit would be as simple as one person or group being eliminated. I am going to give the list to a friend of mine at google just the same and let him deal with what happens to search results with these addresses in them. Meanwhile help spread the word. Everyone has my explicit permission to copy this article and spread it everywhere on the web. Enjoy and look out for content theft. As we do now maybe you should implement something that feeds up special content for these theift that says they are crooks or that they are stealing from the original author or whatever you can think up. That should slow them down a bit

I need some opinions on this one. All the others feeds are now jacked This one here though I have left alone for now because it apears as though may be an atempt at a legit search engine of some type anyway. Not! They do not seem to take full texts just headlines and they actualy link to the article. What concerns me though is that first of all they have no contact information for removal of content or anything for that matter. I also notice there is not a single add anywhere so I am even thinking they were stripped of the right to use adds. Any ideas? Same goes for the rest in the list. If it is legit and done proper there is no issue with it. Feel free to contact us with your dispute. Seriously enough though what this looks like to me is the direct product of every single get rich online in 30 days scheme. You have a real basic crapy website plain jane generated with dreamweaver or some crap and then you set it up to look like a search engine. You give it a fancy title. Throw in your add code generator and then throw in something to steel the feeds for topics related to various preset categories. This is the type of thing I read about tonight. Some “rich jerk” guy. Looked over his content and what he offers up for information and I do not know either way but what I do know is I found this guys site by searching for my fingerprint and voila now I am reading about how he made his fortunes and anyone can do it blah blah.. So yea maybe you can make some money quick short few bucks then get banned from your host or isp and then have to move to a new one and other nice things like that. Yea no thanks. I am good. Overall I think I am happy with the choice to ban these eleged directories. The majority are just tom foolery.

I am also updating this post due to the fact that even this very post has already been stollen and is being used now on a site that the elleged editors name is Tony Green next his would be picture but if you right click it and view picture you will see that according to the name of the picture this guys name is roger. Tony Green does not exist or at least not for anything to do with those websites. That is who they want you to think that it is. Just the same we are contacting hostgator who is the host provider they use. Something will be done on the part of hostgator or we will be forced to bring this to a federal level. This is theft and they know that they are stealing otherwise they would not have gone to the extent they have to hide there true identity. More on this will be posted here as this progresses.

Back again. Host gator is a reseller for theplanet dot com so we are contacting theplanet’s admin directly.

This whole new internet technology thing is really all just smoke and mirrors if you think about it. There is a huge market out here that is driven by things like google or alexa page ranking. Just what are these ranks and how do you get them anyway? Well the google pr makes good sence. Based on content to keyword ratios as well as site structure, in bound links, pages without error or warnings and other sensible things like that.

What I find overly amuzing about google pr though is that they have 66 errors on the main page alone. I have found there to be 18 as of now on asylum et and as time progresses those will disapear as well. We only have a pr of 3 though and google has a pr of 10. Now if it were any other business would voting or participating in your own things like that be against regulations.

I have great apretiation for what google does though. They are working hard to clean things up. I have noticed others though that claim to be something special like alexa. I am less than impressed with them though. Searching for relevent content is a chore. This site has a ranking with them of like 936,945 or something like that. Google is at number 3 with them. I guess the way they say it is setup over there is it is traffic based. Well that is not entirely true.

What is very unfortunate here is in a place that companies strive to stay on top we have alexa’s out there saying oh no they are no good cuase we have not heard of them yet or whatever. Well that wold almost be fine but here is the catch. Our alexa ranking will never go up much more than maybe 10 points wich I might add keeps us out of a higher earning braket and doesnt even allow us within sight of it for that matter and do yo wanna know just how they deside how much traffic you get?

You have to have an alexa toolbar in your browser as you visit a site otherwise you dont report to them and they never know of the site. That is just lame. That is like saying well Fred you have a subaru so you can not shop at Sears because to shop at sears you need to have a purple subaru with yellow polka dotted dice hanging from your mirror.

This is the furthest method from accurate that we have seen yet. Even quantserve has a more appropriate way of detecting these things wich I do not overly aprove of having to add javascript to my site but at least the webmaster has some control over things.

Overall if you have one of these toolbars great. If not you would be doing myself and others like me a great justice. I still would hope that people choose to disregard these types of things as for making there mind up about a site though due to the fact that we are driving a market into unreachable places for the average person. I have more faith in people than that though.

Here is something you may find amuzing to. This whole pr thing. You want to know just how accurate it is? As of right this moment Asylum ET is rated 987,628 on alexa. Now here comes the part that is going to really get you. My home development site, a mirror of this site wich I will add is not a public server. Guess what it’s alexa rank is. I bet you don’t even come close. It has a ranking of 1’256 that is a difference of 986’372 and the kicker there is this. With Alexa pr the lower the number the better so tell me just how accurate and stable is this internet world we all relly on so much.

I have a friend with an apartment in Italy that just asked me to go and stay in it to keep eye on it for awhile since he is not going to be able to be there for some time now and he just wanted to make sure it is safe. It is funny he says that there are people living in it already. That is partially the reason he would like me there. The people that are in the apartment I guess he had told them they the 2 of them were welcome to stay there for a few weeks till they could get on there feet.

Now it is a year later. They moved 3 more people in and have filled his apartment with there stuff and I mean a ton of it. He feels I would be prime candidate for getting these people persuaded to leave Hmm…. No comment. Just the same it would be nice to go for awhile and see if there is any property in Italy that would interest me. I don’t know. I guess we shall just wait and see what happens.

Well it is friday March 02, 2007 and let me tell you it is just misserable outside. It took me about an hour to get to work. It is sleeting and snowing. Not sure really wich it wants to do I guess. Now that I am at work though I must say that I am just a bit worried. I am not going to be able to get home tonight. By the looks of things I am going to get snowed right in this building for the weekend. Thank heavens there is a fridge here. Hopefully it has some food and drink. I think ordering out is out of the question.
