tattoo cover up work
Tuesday, March 27th, 2007 by adminYou remember back in your teens how your parents told you not to do something and you went ahead and did it anyway. Well I was 16 and I decided it was cool to get drunk and all that then I gave myself a tattoo which although it came out rather well for a drunken teen it was horrible and what an eyesore to bear for so many years. I do not have any good pictures of it so I wont bother to post any but imagine a black widow that was run over by a mac truck
So today I had some cover up work done to it at Walkers in Rutland. Randy Webster is the fellow I had do the work and I have to say I am impressed with it. My skin does not except ink very well but he got the tattoo covered in just under 3 hours. I have 3 images attached of it as it is now. I took them myself and so they are not the best pictures since I could not see what I was getting. More or less I held the camera out in the air and clicked three times. You can see the work fairly well though. The redness will go away in a day or two and then I will post more pictures. Right now the colors are very dark. That will even out over the next few weeks.
Also I can not go without mentioning the price. It was $140 for the original work I had asked for. As he progressed and painted my skin he wanted to get creative and free hand some with his own personal touch. Most at this point would freak out but not I. That is rather what I would expect from an artist. I don’t want the same tattoo thousands of others have so I am all for it. After completing the art work I was charged allot less than originally agreed for the work. The environment was clean and inviting. My 11 year old girl even sat and watched. So I had to give him a tip on top of what I was charged. I could not have it any other way. I am happy and it was less than agreed. If you are looking to have some body art done you should surely go and check these guys out.
These pictures were taken with a Kodac EasyShare Z740 with a 38-380mm All Glass Aspheric Lens at 0 of 10x optical zoom without any filters or effects and very poor lighting.
