A few thoughts on Valentines Day

I really appreciated this article because I feel far too many have lost site of what the holidays truly mean and what the point behind them is. Although it is nice to be able to say I love you with a six thousand dollar ring it is not practical, and means little more than Hun… I… uh… Hmm. I really don’t know you well enough to know what to give you as a real present so I went out and bought the most expensive thing I could find in hopes to make up for my lack of interest in you. Heh… Hope you like it.
Being that the idea behind giving a girl a box of chocolates is to give her many options because a woman likes to have many options. Right out of the box that is a bad idea and symbolizes nothing more than infidelity and a lack of ambition and imagination on your part. Maybe one would try something like waking that special someone up first thing in the morning to a fancy little bed in breakfast treat and a note that they can relax for the rest of the day because you called them off from work and will take care of the chores and kids for the day. “Careful calling her out of work fella’s” That may or may not be a good idea but you knowing your loved one you should know if this is a good idea or not. You may even want to try and extend this type of activity beyond holidays and you may be amazed with the results.
