Down with the wiki!

So over the last week or so I have found that wikipedia is very biased and it is not to clear what causes the sites ill manner toward certain users. The policies and guidelines are very specific and after reading the policies and guidelines and very carefully making additions and modifications this one specific moderator altered every one and or removed everything even after adding the content back with specifics as to why the content was added in the first place and facts as to why it is in fact relevant to the pages the content was added to. You will notice that companies and organizations are allowed for specific reasons. After meeting more than one of those specifics they removed the page altogether. I will not go into specifics here but I will say that the reason that they gave for the third time removal was that they classified it as advertising. They stated that it was spam and the reason being was that it promoted a company. Well the article promoted no one at all. In fact there were three companies, organizations named in the article all of which have the same name but no affiliation. The basis for the article was in wiki’s guidelines for companies as Criteria for products and services as number 2 in the list which is read “The product or service is so well-known that its trademark has suffered from genericization” which is a word that wiki has made up and can not be found in the dictionary. This company that the article was based on fell into this category due to the fact that there are three off the top of my head that have used the same name that only I have had registered since 1992 and the rest of these companies followed suit due to genericization. The company also falls into the criteria for clubs, societies, and organizations, which I am not even going to begin to get into, but you get the idea anyway.

Have you ever heard the saying “What is good for the goose is good for the gander” Well think about this I see many companies on the wiki that have external links to their own websites and this is something I had originally not done due to not wanting to be considered spamming. I was also told that the business I was writing about was not well enough known. I responded by the fact that a single Google search alone would prove to him that this company was more than well known and after that a second response that just because he himself had not heard of the company did not mean that it did not exist so I advised him to look it up before going any further. Needless to say I have come to the point with this one article that was written plus additions made to 5 others that were altered to remove my additions I might add by the same person who is a moderator for the wikipedia that the wiki is pointless source of nonsense and the information that is found there is totally biased and can not be counted as reliable in any shape size or form. So if you want to know something you should maybe start with Google, which is a very good source to locate information, Berkley is another and never forget the one that is in hard cover called encyclopedia Britannica. Wikipedia is biased, censored garbage and is a total waste of your time and thousands of dollars that could be used to do something much more important like feeding children in a 3rd world country for instance. You will find one little bit related to me in wiki and at this point I am debating on removing it due to the fact that I don’t want anything to do with this worthless excuse for an encyclopedia.

    This is something you may find of interest. A page was created today on wikipedia that was exactly as follows. Pay attention to the fact that no person is named in this page that was created and no specific website either including Wikipedia but they must assume right off that it refers to Wikipedia due to the fact that it is true.

    Fictopedia
    A website that poses as a free encyclopedia that is totally fiction based and apposes true facts.

    The page was removed and the user who added it was warned with the following message.

    == Fictopedia ==

    Please do not make personal attacks on other people as you did at Fictopedia. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images ”’are not tolerated”’ by Wikipedia and are Criteria for speedy deletion. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.

    Ok so now that you have seen that why don’t we now go take a look at the policy they have on attacking people even though it is clear there is no attack made here we want to just make sure that this is not an attack.

    Yep ok did that, sure enough no attack was made. This is a generalized page with facts that can be backed up by logs and screenshots of the moderators at wikipedia in fact attacking this particular user rather than the other way around. Hmm.. Isn’t that something? Have we found a biased encyclopedia? I have never heard of such a thing. Not until now anyway. I agree with you I will never go back there either. Thanks for your post. I had to go and check it out for myself and as you see I have similar findings.

    Oh one last note. Take a close look at the line above that says “as you did at Fictopedia
