That is good stuff Joe,
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to comment on this. The posts I make are to stir up the pot a bit. Alot of them have less than accurate information. You are encouraged to look things up yourself. Our purpose is to spawn a more aware buyer by giving them a different view. Mac, before OS X was horible. I used it up till version 7.5 and that was enough for me to switch to a windows machine.

You know I did not ever mention linux but I was supposed to. Linux is the best os there is, OS X is like linux with eye candy but you will even notice that there are many distro's of linux that have had many of the same features that OS X has.

A music player that is a phone. Man that is just to much. When I buy a phone I expect very few things. I might add I get very few of these. I expect that when I dial someone I will get them as apposed to Message RA-4 blah blah. I expect to be talking to them until the call is ended. I expect to be able to get accurate details from the provider such as what the number of every incoming call was. I do not much care if I can listen to beethoven's 9th or browse the web at slow speeds with a 2 - 3 inch screen. My eyes have a hard enough time seing a 17 inch screen and what is on it.
Just the same, great comment Joe.

Man this is just too funny ;D

i am anti Windows now as you know, and there are a few things i need to correct. Above you said that Mac has to use PC parts now. I believe the hardware for the Mac will not run in a PC it just uses the same company for the core processors. As for PC hardware, i have not been trashing that, i would love it if OS X would run natively on the PC hardware. However i fucking hate windows :) I will never go back to it after running OS X.

How was Mac before OS X? I havent the slightest idea, probably sucked. OS X is based on Darwin which is unix. Gotta love the stability of unix. The only "real" difference between OS X and linux is that OS X has the pretty cushy UI wich is sexy.

As for who is copying who? Mac has the right to disrespect PC afterall PC is the one who started all of this trash. They copies several core features from OS X and plopped them into VIsta. Not only that, read this post http://www.tuaw.com/2006/12/11/microsoft-rips-off-apples-icons-too/

As for tyhe Zune vs IPod? Well I have to stick by the iPod after using both. The Zune has a nice navigation menu but it's not as easy to navigate compared to the iPod. I am not sure what you mean by the iPod menu does whatever it wants, maybe it was defective. I know ours works perfectly fine.
The Zune does have good quality audio pumping out of it but rumor has it that Apple already has the next product on the way to be announced which very well could replace the iPod. THink about an iPod / Cell phone combined unit much like the Treo 650 with Much better audio capability.

now in the title you call it ms vs mac vs linux but i dont see where you ever touch on linux :D

People also make fun of the mac comercials, just look here http://www.josephcrawford.com/?s=spoof
